A Real Estate Agent is usually a licensed professional who is employed by a property seller or owner. An agent should also possess sound knowledge about selling a home. The buyer must feel comfortable working with an agent that understands his/her situation.

Real estate agents must keep abreast of changes and developments in the market. They also need to be proficient in handling the financial aspects of real estate. Real estate agents should be licensed, bonded, and insured.
